Kankles is the most popular Lithuanian folk stringed instrument. There are three sorts of kankles: of Lower Lithuania, Higher Lithuania and Suvalkija (South-western region of Lithuania). Kankles were made just when the close person died. Here we present high, diatonic and contrabass kankles. The ensemble uses other well-known stringed instruments, such as violin, contrabass, etc. as well.
